FriendSchedule ("the Service") is operated by Jetfuel AI ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum information necessary to operate the Service:

• Email addresses — provided voluntarily when creating a poll, signing in, or being invited to vote
• Poll content — titles, descriptions, date options, and votes you submit
• Names — display names provided when voting
• Technical data — IP addresses (for rate limiting and abuse prevention only, not stored long-term), browser type, and timestamps

We do not collect: payment information, precise geolocation, demographic data, browsing history, or any sensitive personal information.

How We Use Your Information

• To operate the scheduling poll service (store polls, record votes)
• To send transactional emails you initiate (invitations, reminders, admin links)
• To prevent abuse and spam (rate limiting, bot detection via Cloudflare Turnstile)

We do not use your information for marketing, advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to operating the Service.

Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with:

• Resend — email delivery provider (receives recipient email addresses)
• Cloudflare — bot verification and CDN (receives IP addresses)
• Hosting provider — infrastructure where the Service runs

These providers process data only as necessary to provide their services and are subject to their own privacy policies.

Data Retention

• Poll data is retained as long as the poll exists
• You can delete a poll (and all associated data) at any time via the admin link
• If the Service is discontinued, all data will be permanently deleted
• IP addresses used for rate limiting are held in memory only and not persisted to disk

Cookies & Local Storage

We use essential cookies for authentication sessions (if you sign in). We use browser localStorage to remember your vote on a poll so you can update it later. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or advertising cookies.

Your Privacy Rights (California & Other States)

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), and similar state laws (Virginia VCDPA, Colorado CPA, Connecticut CTDPA), you have the right to:

• Know what personal information we have collected about you
• Delete your personal information (delete your poll via admin link, or contact us)
• Correct inaccurate personal information
• Opt out of sale — we do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of
• Non-discrimination — we will not treat you differently for exercising your rights

To exercise these rights, delete your poll using the admin link provided when you created it. For other requests, visit jetfuel-ai.com to contact us. We will respond within 45 days as required by law.

Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, rate limiting, bot detection, and secure infrastructure. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
